Endowed Chair: Tree Fruit Whole Plant Physiology and Production Systems with the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The Department of Horticulture invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track, funded 100% research endowed chair position located at the Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center in Wenatchee, WA. The successful applicant will lead WSU’s pome fruit whole-plant physiology and production systems horticulture research program and participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching activities, and supervise graduate students.
Required: PhD in horticulture or a related plant science discipline at the time of application. Qualified for appointment at associate or full professor rank in the Department of Horticulture. Demonstrated record of scholarly accomplishments in plant physiology and cropping systems management.
