PhD GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS GREENHOUSE/NURSERY - University of Georgia

Two research assistantships (PhD) are available in the Department of Horticulture of the University of Georgia for research on irrigation and nutrient management in greenhouses and nurseries. This research is part of a federally-funded, multi-institutional project.

Preference will be given to students with a background in one or more of the following disciplines: horticulture, plant physiology, plant nutrition, or crop modeling.

Research can be tailored to meet the career objectives of the student, with the possibility of including various aspects of plant physiology, nutrition, and/or modeling.

The assistantships are available starting Spring 2010, and include a full stipend (starting at $20,000/year), health insurance, and tuition waiver.
