RESEARCH LEADER - Conrad Fafard Inc.

Conrad Fafard Inc. is seeking research leaders for greenhouse and nursery trials in eastern Oklahoma: Dallas, Texas: east Texas/western Louisiana; Schulenburg, Texas (1.5 hours from Houston, Austin or San Antonio); northern, central and southern California; northern New Jersey; western North Carolina and central Florida.

Focus on trialing new potting media formulas to help growers achieve healthy plants and profitable crops. Self-motivated, enthusiastic candidates will be responsible for establishing/conducting trials and communicating research findings to management. Knowledge of nursery and greenhouse management, production practices and horticultural concepts is required. Individuals in these positions should also have experience with experimental data collection and management.

Positions are internship-based with an hourly wage ($12-$15) for 6-months, available beginning January 2010.
