Please note: If you are contacting the hotel reservation agents to reserve your sleeping room, note that as a general procedure, Marriott reservation agents are instructed to let everyone know about the resort fee -- this is a Marriott policy. Reservation agents are not privy to the negotiated arrangement that ASHS has in place with the hotel, therefore, they are unaware that the resort fee is optional for our group. The Desert Springs JW Marriott Resort & Spa is located in Palm Desert, California, in the heart of the Coachella Valley, which is also home to nearby Palm Springs and other resort communities. Three majestic mountain ranges provide a dramatic backdrop to the spectacular property. Palm Desert is a two-hour drive from both Los Angeles and San Diego. Joshua Tree National Park is located nearby.
