Participate in Interest Groups. ASHS members can participate in more than 50 Working Groups that focus on topics of specific interest to provide specialized information to members. Leadership Opportunities - Active Members may run for elected office. By serving on committees, councils, and boards, individuals can sharpen their leadership skills while becoming more involved in the affairs of the Society. Members are recognized each year with Society, Division, and Interest Group Awards for outstanding career achievements and published works. Each year the Society elects Fellows who have accomplished extraordinary, lifelong horticultural achievements.
